"Unlike other, larger childrens’ theaters in the area, McGlaughlins cares about your child’s time. They customize the rehearsal schedule so that your child shows up when it is time to rehearse the scenes in which your child is featured. In other words, kids are not sitting around in a room unsupervised for hours waiting for their five minutes of stage time. Also, because they are a smaller theater, they work really hard to make sure your child has opportunities to play larger roles, even if they have to double cast in order to accomplish that. It’s a lot more work for the directors, but the result is a rich and meaningful experience for the students."

Whan attending a show, I also didn't appreciate the fact I was asked directly to make a donation to buying extra equipment when they already charge significantly more for kids to be in their shows than other local companies do. The whole thing was second rate, except for some performers."
