"He told me my shoes would be ready in a month. After a month and a half I had to reach out for an update. I received no reply. After two months total, I asked again. I heard back that there were delays and it would take a few more weeks. After three and a half months total, I asked for a discount or my shoes back unfinished. I got them back unfinished. The delay is understandable. The lack of communication is unacceptable. The fact my shoes were just in a stock of shoes is confusing. The description of how rare his services are when I picked them up was off-putting. Having shoe repair in Waukesha is a welcome service. Here's hoping he turns it around and others have a better experience. Edit: After posting this review, Colin called me four times and texted me sarcastically addressing his own life circumstances and thanking me for being his first one star review. He mentioned he has thousands of customers and couldn't possibly be expected to communicate with all of us. I called him back to express that his response was a really immature way to respond to a negative review. He doubled down on his own stance. He indicated he wanted to rectify the situation. When I pointed out I had already suggested how he could (a discount) and that he ignored it, he said again he was too busy to respond. I mean this sincerely. I am glad Colin is too busy to communicate with his customers. That is a good problem to have. I am glad his business is doing so well and I hope it continues to grow. Unfortunately, being too busy to communicate is a bad customer experience. Receiving multiple calls and texts because of a bad review is bewildering to me."
