"My son was seen in the E.R. Friday 03/08/2024. Because he threatened suicide, never meaning and it got way out of proportion. He repeatedly stated that he is not suicidal and he did not intend to harm himself. The psych counselor Eddie, evaluated him and decided he wants to reevaluate him in 16 hours. Unbeknownst to my son or any other family members they planned to hold him for 72 hours and send him to Freemont, basically they lied to us. Patty the charge nurse laughed us and said he is going. She was rude and threatened to have me escorted out, if I argued . Never trust these people. I plan to report them to the nursing board. And psychiatric board. They wanted to make money by milking his insurance."

"Great care given to my daughter. The nurses were all very attentive, friendly, and accommadating. Cannot complain about the treatment and care. Love that the residents have a local hospital they can go to without having to travel 30 minutes away to get to the nearest hospital outside of Hollister."

"Back in 2021, I was in the ER for pain in my pelvis. I was in so much pain, practically dying of pain. The staff weren’t very nice and seemed like that had better things to do than treat me, I was taken for an ultrasound, where the person doing my ultrasound was very rough and didn’t take my pain into consideration. after that, They said they’d found a cyst, but that It wasn’t dangerous, that it shouldn’t be affecting me in any way, They then discharged me. About a week later I was found on the bathroom floor in my house writhing in pain, my parents drove me to Stanford children’s hospital, there the staff was amazing, they treated me kindly, even the security there ran in to get me a wheelchair so that my parents could push me inside instead of making me walk (which I could barely do). I was there for a couple hours, they checked in on me, making sure I was fine, they gave me stuff for the pain. They had found 2 grapefruit sized cysts, one was wrapped around my ovaries. I needed emergency surgery that night. The conversation about how I could’ve died was brought up, I owe my life to the surgeons who worked on me that night. I now hate going to Hazel Hawkins for fear that they’d misdiagnose when there’s something wrong. Every time I step into the hospital, I feel as if I’m walking on egg shells, if I don’t answer fast, they try and answer for me. As if I’m wasting their time. Take it from me, it’s better to take yourself or your loved ones to a different hospital. Any other hospital would be better than going to Hazel Hawkins."

"Had to take my wife to emergency Sunday night with breathing difficulties. I have to say in all her 74 years and multiple surgeries we have Never had such Steller service and attention from any hospital Ever. From the moment she arrived they were attentive fast and friendly. Dr Bogey was wonderful with bedside communication and his treatment decisions. And the nurses were Next level in their service friendly demeanor, attentiveness and professionalism. Their follow up and follow through was a 10/10. Every staff member we encountered from administrative, nurses aid even transport personnel were friendly efficient and engaging. Once she was moved to a room at 9pm the outstanding service from the critical care team in ICU continued. There wasn’t a moment that there wasn’t offers of assistance and anticipation of needs for my wife. From the nurses and their support staff. The meals were outstanding not to mention the delicious cafeteria selection and food for me. We even bought food to go from there after discharge. Sorry this is so long winded but I just wanted to give credit to the Wonderful staff and service we encountered in our experience there. Truly a 10/10 experience. Thank You"
