"I gave it a 2 only because the nurse was so efficient and really had caring sincere spirit. Now I don't go to hospitals period unless it's life threatening or etc But I would not recommend this hospital anymore things have totally changed so much. So I got my foot ran over by my daughters father in DV situation and was taken by ambulance when seen by doctor he tried to say it was just Sprung and a car couldn't have run over but even the nurse couldnt believe it he said how can he say that when the tire tracks were on my shoe and my loot and leg. So now years later I've suffered wearin a medical boot due to the incident because the broken bones weren't treated properly at all. Now I had another incident recently I lost conciousness and fell was takin by ambulance not my choice I woke up in ambulance after 7 hrs waiting and had few test this Indian lady doctor comes and says I was just experiencing gas in my stomache! She was so rude yellin at me to get up and walk ! (And this was loud in front of everyone) I couldn't belive it ! What did I do wrong by being there ! But Once again the nurse was so caring and efficient and she could see the pain I was in i had high heart rate and bp 200 and in severe pain but was told it was gas (I had no gas smh)how humiliated I felt so when I left hospital next morning humiliated and still in so much pain but was ashamed to even cry after the that Indian lady doctor treated me that way! I was still in pain so ended up goin to Dameron best hospital for this area and Guess what it was stress ulcers and gall bladder and Not Gas as I was told!! So no I will never recommend this hospital!! Great nurses though !"

"Been coming to this hospital my whole life and it’s always something with them. If you have the ability to get to another hospital I would really recommend it because it’s always full and waiting for hours just to release you the same way or even worse because now your mentally stressed out and have a big bill for nothing. They put you in a room that looks more like an old office or in the hall way with crowded people. It’s sad to see people suffering while they are talking about their personal lives at work as if we’re not there at all. I’ve had so many bad experiences and it’s probably never going to change. Oh well is the attitude I have now. We are just another number. Stay healthy and strong my friends"

"Request for Medical and Psychiatric Records: On their website they falsely advertise to submit a request by fax or mail, then they require a $15.00 charge, and in the end they quote some law that a "Statement that the patient will receive a copy of the completed authorization is required on the authorization" however they rejected their own Dignity Health Authorization and it's not even listed online to include a $15.00 check and some mystery statement. So now the Medical Records Department wasted 30 days of time, ate the $15.00 fee, and want you to restart all over again. They are FALSELY ADVERTISING on their website to fax or mail the request and include no other instructions to properly include the documents that should be included. Contact them and ask for all of the details so you don't fall into their trap of wasted time and money."

"This hospital is the most unprofessional hospital I’ve ever came across even county in Alameda county is not this unprofessional. I came in here two weeks ago before New Year’s with a broken hand. My hand is still broken. Then my father came in unprofessional again. He was unkept. it was dirty they refused to clean them. Unfortunately he had to go back a week later they lost his ID they claim they couldn’t find it. They thought it was a joke People on the fourth floor are very unprofessional respiratory very nurse days thought it was funny and kept laughing when he couldn’t find the ID and said he just came back from lunch. He needs to rest before so hopefully he can rest on an unemployment office but if you love, somebody, don’t take him to say Joe Because you’ll end up in there in a psych ward because they gonna drive you crazy with a unprofessional petty. …. part two all week for the last week and a half. I’ve been in contact with this hospital. Nurse has been calling three and four times today this morning. They been calling my house since 8 o’clock this morning only to tell me I got 30 minutes to pick him up that he got to come today. Come home today but yet I have asked during all these phone calls all this week. When is he gonna be discharged? Oh it’s gonna be a while it’s gonna be a while I’m sick. I have the flu and I have painters coming and they tell me that they need to drop him off and that’s exactly where can you come pick them up or we can drop them off today today I’ll talk to you yesterday. I’ll talk to you day before never said anything now they tell me I got 30 minutes or I would come pick him up my advice go to county San Joaquin county do not go to Saint Joe’s. They will dump whoever you love or care about on the corner or anywhere they medical care is trash with all capitals, trash, unprofessional, and trash. I can’t believe Kaiser even linked up with you guys and I belong to Kaiser since I’ve been sick I will never come here again never."

"I absolutely love this hospital. Yes, every hospital has their grumpy group of healthcare workers but in comparison to every other hospital I've experienced. St. Joe's staff are always top notch, knowledgeable, caring, kind and amazing. In my opinion, some of their worst attributes are still far superior to other hospitals best attributes. I would want St. Joe's staff to take care of me or any one of my loved ones any day of the week."
