"Unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences I had with any doctor's office ever. I moved to the neighborhood and looked for a new PCP, and this office seemed to fit the bill. I had an initial physical with Dr. Tam and I was happy with his expertise and rapport. However, the office as a whole was a complete, humiliating fiasco. A few months after this initial exam I called for a prescription refill (a simple prescription I've been taking for years, and that my old doctor would renew after an email reminder), and I couldn't get it in full three weeks. The receptionists would leave me on hold for 10-15 minutes at a time, and then they would just hang up. Each call would take about an hour of my time, with all the waiting, hang ups, and calling again. When I finally got to talk to someone, each time they said they would leave a message for Dr. Tam, and nothing happened. Three weeks of that. My last call was with a person called Merilyn Henriques (or something to that effect), who was the rudest, most jaded person I have ever talked to in any doctor's office ever (and we know how jaded they can get). No apology, no responsibility to the patient, no acknowledgment of the obligations they have, nothing. She could not care less. And I still don't have my medication, which is causing me pain and distress. I will be reporting this experience to the Medical Board of California. I hope they improve their service and get up to the standards of medical profession, or they should close the shop. No one deserves to be treated like this."

"Really difficult to get things done when the medical assistant doesn’t send the results they advised they would and doesn’t allow you to speak to someone above them. Stating their name was “yancy” and asked if they needed to “spell it out for you?” Very unprofessional and it’s really unfortunate that I had a great experience with Dr. Dave, but their staff is difficult to work with on simple things like an annual check up. Asked for simple test orders so that I could check why I’m being charged as my plan covers preventative. Wouldn’t be trusting them for any serious issues if they came up. Wouldn’t recommend."

"Gave 3 stars because this office is not respectful of your time. I’ve been several times, and each time I don’t see the doctor until ~45 minutes past my appointment time. Last week, I arrived at 8am for an 8:30am appointment, and had to leave at 9am without seeing the doctor, because I had a work meeting to get to. Unfortunately I can’t spare 2+ hours of PTO for every Dr appointment, so I plan to switch to another office. Still gave 3 stars because despite the above issue, I do feel like Dr. Tam was a good doctor who actually listens to the issues I bring up, and clearly explains his recommendations."

"I had a great experience with Dr. Amanda Leigh Howard. She was attentive and listened to all my needs. She was caring and had great bedside manners. I walked in anxious about my health concerns but left feeling confident that I’m in the right hands and will be cared for. All of the staff were also very patient, helpful, and courteous. I was blown away by their level of professionalism and friendliness. (Would highly recommended this office! )"
