Banfield Pet Hospital 2141 North Rose Avenue, Oxnard, CA 93036

"I've been taking my pets to Banfield for 23 years, I started taking my first pet "Marco" there when Banfield was located at Oxnard Boulevard, Dr Schneider was great, i was sad when she retired. I continued to take my pets to Banfield to the new location at Rose Ave. They have a new Vet there, I don't remember her name, but she is a disputing human being, my dog "Coal" was overweight, and she threatened to report The Humane Society on me! Other vets at Banfield mentioned that Coal was overweight, but they never mentioned to call the Humane Society on me. I been a pet owner for many years, I take my pets for their check-ups regularly, I have their vaccinations up to date, so they can get their license, I had all my pets neutered, and they are not chained to a damn fence in the back yard, and yes I do walk them. Why is this woman working at Banfield threatening people to be reported to The Humane Society? Thanks to her, I am no longer a Banfield customer, and found a vet closer to my home in Port Hueneme. By the way, he did not threaten to report me to The Humane Society!"

"I had to switch locations from this one. I can never get anybody on the phone. The voice message states they're closed when they're not. I called PetSmart and asked if the hospital was open and they said yes. So frustrating!"

"This Vet should absolutely be ashamed of themselves. Recently on two different occasions my kids had emergencies with their elderly dogs. Banfield would not help at all. These kids pay for the insurance through banfield, spends hundreds of dollars each and every visit and when they needed them most, Banfield was nowhere to be found. Absolutely shameful."

"Love taking my little Susy there. Dr. Matin is fantastic as well as the staff. They all do a great job. The only complaint I would have is that sometimes the check-in and out can take a bit of time, but all and all they are great."

"Banfield Pet Hospital. Now this is a place that loves pets and treats your pet with care. Liz is amazing and always takes care of Sterling Archer. The Vets and Vet Techs are very caring and go through there examination with you so you can understand what is needed for your pet to healthy and happy . I suggest that you get a care package they really turn out being a valuable tool to keep your dog strong and up to date with all is needs. This includes shots ,visits ,deworming , and a wisdom panel plus they will work with your schedule to give your furry friend all the advantages of the plan. Its no insurance so medication is not included but it is a preventive dream. Love this place you will too."
