"I’m a 38 year old singer-songwriter that has taken lessons from Simone, my 8 year old daughter is currently taking lessons from Simone…and you should too! I was a self-taught singer when I began my musical journey. I was in a rock band for years, we played shows and recorded albums. I had no official instruction or technique, I just went for it and had fun. Eventually, I decided to explore music as a solo singer-songwriter. This was very different and I wanted to see what singing lessons could offer me. Simone came highly recommended from a family friend, so I reached out. After my first lesson, I was blown away. Simone is fantastic. She’s energetic, she’s inspiring, she’s focused, patient and truly a pleasure to work with. She taught me how to physically sing with my entire body - posture, shaping the sounds, proper breathing. She taught me how to use my voice as an instrument and take care of it. I gained a competence and confidence that lifted me to a higher level as a musician and it has led me to create music that I never could have without her guidance. My daughter loves her lessons as well. She sings a lot now! In the car, while she’s doing her homework, playing outside…to herself, to others.
