"Highly recommend Steppin’ Out Dance Studios with Helen Andrade. During the Covid lockdown my lovely wife and I started trying to teach ourselves Swing[East/West/Western], Two-Step and Salsa. As things opened up we stopped our home lessons. I must say we were teaching ourselves home-surgery without a doctor. So for our 35th anniversary my wife gave us lessons at Petaluma’s Stepping Out with Helen Andrade. We, through our lessons, landed on East Coast Swing to work on first. We showed her what we thought we knew and I’m sure it must have been painful to watch. Helen is very patient and with me she was a saint. It is very fun to get professional instruction and meet Helen. Her professionalism and musicology is superb. We both bought bonafide dance shoes and it makes a big difference to properly spin and move while honing our beginner and moving on to intermediate skills and also learn more dances."
