"It was nice to have a sampler plate that accommodated the number of people in the party. Bread was warm. Cocktails were strong. Food was pretty decent. Dessert was good. There is a live band and it can be a bit loud inside. We were seated on the second floor so it was nice to be able to see everything."

"Absolutely loved Bix! The ambience is great, the service is incredible, and the food was amazing! I highly recommend the Marrow Bones, Potato Pillows, and the Seared Duck Breast! The only thing to note was that the website says men would feel comfortable in a suit and that women would be hard pressed to be over-dressed. This made my wife and I think this was more of an upscale location, and we dressed for it. We felt very out of place! The general wear was jeans & t-shirt so maybe don't go for the Suit like I did!"

"Great classy place. Top of the line service and presentation. I dined here with a great group of friends on July 23, 2024, and I had a great time. Everything from wine to food was delicious. My favorite was the grilled salmon. Absolutely cooked to perfection. I can honestly say the best salmon I had over my entire life. I highly recommend it."

"Can we give six stars? This place is a San Francisco institution. If you're in town for a few days you should make it a point to stop by here. Have a drink. Grab a bite to eat. Hang out with some friends. They were for sure make you feel comfortable and at home and went here with the group of six people and everyone was treated great. The food was excellent. Decent wine list beer on top of course. Many cocktails to be had. Did we mention the live music? It's not enough to have a piano player, but there are also vocals to go on with it. It really set the mood for the evening"
