"Neat museum at the bottom of Griffith Park. Free entry and has several different train engines and cabooses on display throughout a pretty large area. It was interesting to learn more alt the importance of the railroad in settling and modernizing the West."

"For a park with free admission, I don't know how you can go wrong. Two of the engines/cars were open for going inside. The store carries water and drinks without gouging the prices. Train ride does two laps and they take cash or credit. Last time we were there children were $3 and adults $4."

Easily can spend 2 hours here walking around and they have bunch of picnic tables or you can have a picnic on the grass area. You can bring your toy train since they have a train track inside one of the building. Or you can buy a train in the gift shop. Overall, good experience for my toddlers."
