Harbor Inn & Suites Oceanside

"I love being able to walk a very distance to the store or Denny's and even the beach. The harbor is a short walk as well. It's on the corner and parking can be a little tricky. Rooms are nice and priced well. We've stayed here several times and aren't disappointed. The gentleman at the desk is friendly and always willing to help with concerns or accommodations. It's not a large hotel and doesn't have a ton or amenities other than room features like microwave and mini fridge. The bathrooms are a good size and the water definitely gets hot! We'll be back several times."

"The room was falling apart! The paint on the walls looked like they were trying to go for a camouflage motif. The interior doors were falling apart. The heater didn't heat. I almost slipped multiple times in the shower. The lamp shades were cracked and the outlets in the lamps didn't work. They didn't have a safety bar on the door. "The seating" was a tiny table with 1 chair, but the picture had a couch. We booked a 3 bed room, but the reservations said we got a 2 bedroom room which makes me think they don't have said room and they baited and switched us. On the website the 2 bedroom room was supposed to be a king and queen, but the queen was actually a double. There was mold in the bathroom and the closet. Everytime our neighbors turned on the TV it changed our TV and even turned it on in the middle of the night. We had to unplug our TV so it didn't keep us up. They clearly did not clean the place before we got the room because there was a pimple patch on the bathroom counter from the previous guests. Had they wiped the counter they would have found it. Honestly this place deserves negative stars."

"If I could give this place a negative 5 star review, I would. Right when we walked into the room you could smell cigarette smoke. The comforters had cigarette burn holes. There was a bloody needle sticking out of the lampshade. The bathroom door was held together by shipping tape. The place was filthy. After noticing this, we went to the front office for a refund. Lazy was tired and didn't want to deal with any customers. He was extremely rude and acted like we were a burden to him. Get a new job if you don't like it. This place needs to be shut down. Lazy needs to find a new gig away from customer service."

"Stayed for 5 days for work. This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The room was filthy, there was mold and mildew in the bathroom, the door wasn't even white anymore. The baseboards were water stained... It was horrible. The only good thing was the location and the price. This is another case of: you get what you pay for."

"Front Desk service is good. Overall standard of the room is below average. Room smell awful. The worst part there was no hot water for 2 days. No warning were sent to us, until we asked the front desk. Internet very poor. Bugs crawling on my floor, not acceptable. The picture on the website is probably taken when it first open, it is not the same today."
