"The lady who styled my hair to stand up in a wedding dropped the curling iron on my temple and eye. She apologized, but then kept going so I figured it wasn't bad and the pain was just from getting clunked. I saw later there was a very noticeable red mark over my eye and along my temple. Accidents happen, but maybe a cool cloth and at least some acknowledgement of "hey you have a burn there, my bad.""

"I got married on Sat April 23rd 2016 and went to Serenity Salon for my hair and makeup. My hair turned out great but my makeup was horrible. I rarely wear makeup (maybe 5 times a year) so I told the makeup artist, Corey, that I wanted something very natural and simple. Well he got done and my eyes looked sunken in and I looked like a raccoon. The foundation color was waaaay too dark. I looked like I just sat in a tanning booth with just my face because my body is quite pale. I went outside and asked the opinion of my mom, morher-in-law and bridesmaids. They told me to go have him redo it. I had blotches everywhere on my face and even black streaks because he wiped my eyeliner with the brush he used for my foundation. I went back in and he put on a lighter foundation over the dark foundation. Well that didn't work either because it was caked on my face. I then asked him to just take it all off and I would have a bridesmaid do my makeup. I went to my bridesmaids house and 10 min later with Mary Kay makeup she gave me the exact look I wanted. I would suggest no one gets makeup done by Serenity Salon unless you want to look like a clown."
