La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Yucaipa

"We relocated to the La Quinta Inn Yucaipa after we had a very failed Airbnb experience. This hotel is great and so economic! The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The gym is great as well. My only complaint is the breakfast wasn't great but it's what you'd expect for a free breakfast."

"The hubby and I stayed here the weekend of January 20-21st . It was a lil bit of a drive for us. But it was totally worth it. It’s such an updated hotel with great amenities. The shower is perfect for two people to share. We had a great little visit here. Wouldn’t mind going back."

"My family of 3 (plus dog) stayed for 6 nights in December over Christmas holiday while visiting family. So thankful to have a nice hotel in the area! We were on the first floor close to the door out to the pool. PROs: - The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are nice and spacious (including ample space for our large dog crate). Hotel lobby was welcoming and had delicious cucumber and mint water. - The front desk and breakfast staff were fantastic! I wish I had written down names. - Dog friendly with a maximum charge (3 nights) - Super quiet - sound proofing was well done. We couldn't hear the freeway or much noise from other rooms inside besides the exterior door shutting. - breakfast was included each day. CONs: - I knocked one star off for "service" part of this review because we only had our room serviced once. This is likely due to holiday schedule and limited staff. It only bothered me because on day 3, I put the towels on the floor and then they sat there until day 6 (the day before we were leaving). And we had our Golden Retriever with us, so a good vacuuming would have been nice. - The green blinking light on the fire alarm was so bright and on the bed side of the room. It kept me up/woke me up a lot. - Although the hotel is pet-friendly, the pet potty area is small and weird. There is no grass, just a small gravel pad that smelled so bad. When you walked around the property you could tell that people were taking their pets elsewhere (in the manicured beds with rocks). Because there's not much rain, it smelled pretty bad just about everywhere. I would suggest finding a way to water/rinse to counteract. - Pool wasn't open. Not sure if this is a winter or new hotel thing (the front desk said it would open in Jan)."

"So this is a nice new building. The worker at the front desk was very polite. Awesome that they let pets stay. Unfortunately we could smell sewage in our room. There was a drain in the floor (not the shower) that the sewage smell was coming from. We had to leave our window open all night so the smell wasn't so intense, which was noisy as we were right by the highway."
