"I live 3 hours away from this salon and I scheduled an appointment for my fiancé days in advance with this particular salon because she said she had $20 in credit to use from her last appointment where she overpaid for services. During the trip my BMW caught a flat tire, we were still about 2 hours away from the salon. My fiancé contacted the salon to inform them she would be late but still coming. Unfortunately the parts for a BMW rim and tire were not readily available and since it was Friday needed to be ordered. So the trip to the salon had to wait and so did we hours away from home. My fiancé contacted the owner Jimbi and she told her to just come in on Monday morning at 8:30 am. We did, on Monday morning we sat in the parking lot for over an hour waiting on someone to come open the shop. Finally by 9:45am my fiancé called and the owner answered she said she forgot and would not be in to the shop today or tomorrow. This is unheard of!!"

"I give this place zero stars but google is forcing me to give it at least one star. Just like with all the other reviews on this place my experience was horrible as well. Since I’m into real estate I travel long distances and need to look my best along the road. I stumbled into this salon located in Madison Wisconsin to get my braids touched up. It was a small shabby unkept and not ventilated shared office space where several African women were braiding hair with small children eating candy from the floor and playing games on a tablet. Normally would not step foot in a place like this but today these braids needed to be done. My stylist name was Amy and she quoted me a price of $75 for my hair to be braided in big braids straight to the back and washed which I paid upfront via cashapp. After paying I decided not to get my hair washed and just have it braided. After the braids were done I asked if the price was the same even though I didn’t get the wash and the owner said that the braids were only $55. I asked the owner for the $20 that I overpaid to be returned and she began speaking very unprofessionally calling “girl” and called me drunk and saying that she was going to give me my money back as a gift. ????? I was totally blown away by the actions of the owner of this company. Be aware everyone and read all of these reviews before doing business here. I’m sure you’ll be glad you did!"

"So upset with this place. I called and told them the service that I needed (it wasn’t listed on website) and she told me she can do that. I asked her to make an appointment for Tuesday and she told me we didn’t need to because it was an easy service, and I could just walk in on Tuesday at noon and get it done. I let her know I would call before coming. I call at noon on Tuesday and they tell me that everybody left for the day. This place is clearly unorganized and doesn’t care to leave customers behind when they need services for vacation. now the owner is claiming that I just "didn't make an appointment" when I literally couldn't because there was no place to book the service I wanted on their website. I specifically told her ill be in at noon on Tuesday. When I called to let her know I was on my way she said she could only do it at 3 now because they left for the day. I had work at 3 so this was not possible. Not reliable."

"I love the work these ladies do! My knotless braids last for at least 2 months and there is not a lot of tension or pulling on my hair. I have gone twice and I am a fan of the different colors they have available. I will definitely keep coming back."
