Comfort Inn Cockatoo Near LAX Airport

"Really nice size rooms they're clean located next to the The Holiday inn Express and the Courtyard nn Express. The pool facing balcony rooms are the best. There's a Ralphs across the street at McDonald's on the corner and a gas station and a Starbucks and an El Pollo loco can't go wrong right there."

"Clean rooms, not very quiet, courtesy of it being LA. The staff seemed to be barely there. When asked about the area, they reacted no different than a tourist would. They seemed very uninformed. Not a lot of shopping unless you want to walk a ways. Recommend taking Uber or other ride service with a predetermined fare. The taxi drivers were very dishonest. There is no shuttle to or from the airport. Breakfast was okay. The serving room was very cramped, making it difficult to serve."

"Spent about a week there. Asked for the room cleaned but never happened. Parking is a nightmare here. They don't actually have a parking lot and use a neighboring parking garage. The breakfast area is so packed, it's impossible to get a quick meal. They seemed to have converted a closet area into the food area. When leaving, my folks left my back pack in the room. They didn't call me about it at all but when I called they did have it behind the counter. Got the back pack with my stuff back missing my 2 unopened vapes. Guess I'm glad they didn't steal more. Would recommend any other location... There are a bunch of other hotels right next door. Avoid this one at all costs."

"I stayed here for 2 nights, my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did see a small bug on my last day there but with people cooking in the rooms there's bound to be bugs. The room has a small kitchen with a stove top, full fridge and microwave. No dishes or pans though, you might have to ask the front desk for that. I like that there is a gated parking garage available for free but it's not connected to the hotel so you have to walk back to the hotel. The distance is very short there is a house in between the parking garage and hotel. Laundry is available for $2. The breakfast is pretty good. Checking in was fast but there is not really a place to park to get that done."

"Pros: Location is close to airport. All the amenities they list they provide. Cons: Free parking is street parking. Facility is dated. Would not recommend for the smell sensitive. Room & Amenities: Rooms have a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. Comfy bed. Pool is clean. Service: Most of the staff was very friendly and answered my questions about the area. Location: This is where the price makes sense, otherwise this should be an under $100/night hotel. Value for Money: Location included, average. Summary: The neighborhood looks rough but we had no problem walking 10 at night to grab some tacos nearby. The breakfast is hot, there is a business center, and parking is free. While not as cheap as it could be, still a value to be had for the convenience."
