"Nice rooms for the price. I was comfortable enough and felt it was enough accommodation to consider returning when in town."
"This place is literally walking distance, across the street from the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens. The Casino has its own Hotel which charges 2-3x per room, per night more than this Hotel. That being said, THIS Hotel, is very good, clean and very comfortable. This place is quite good! The rooms are Spartan, but comfortable. Beds are firm, but so comfortable. TV is basic cable, WiFi is difficult. Pool was under construction, but in Winter, who cares? A Phenomenal Breakfast. Includes Scrambled Eggs, Waffles, Yogurt, Sausage, Toast, English Muffins, Danish, Muffins, Hard Boiled Eggs, Juices, Coffee, Fruit, and more, every morning from 6am to 9am. Staff is friendly, kind and multilingual. Housekeeping is friendly and helpful, Front Desk is super kind, helpful, knowledgeable and capable. Grounds are clean (I even saw Housekeeping sweep the parking lot!), hallways are clear and Room appeared to be spotless. The Hotel is located 13mi away from USC Keck Hospital, 15mi to the Aquarium of the Pacific, and 9.8mi to Downtown LA. Centrally located, the Hotel is .3mi from the 710 fwy (the Long Beach Fwy). Literally walking distance from the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens because the Hotel is right across the street from it. One great thing about this Hotel is that it is Handicapped Accessible. There are ramps and Accessible Showers and Bathrooms. The Heated Pool has a lift that can put those with very limited mobility into and out of the Pool. This is not something I see at many Hotels and it makes this one stand out for me."
"I recently stayed in this hotel and it was terrible, place is under construction and they keep working overnight so there's a lot of noise , some rooms a remodel. But it looks disgusting ."
"For the location and surrounding establishments its functional. Way too noisy on the weekends with the venue right next door blasting music all night long. Property wise the cleanliness seems non-existent to abysmal, hallways feel abandoned with plastic covering carpet, and parking becomes impossible even with a "parking pass". The rooms have a few redeeming features.. bathroom & bedroom look recently refurbished, otherwise the rest of the stuff looks old & falling apart. I moved rooms once because my window wouldn't even lock, the second time a drywall screw was holding the window closed and by the third we figured out it was the best they could provide as it at least latched closed.."
"We were looking for a place close to family we were there to visit, and this is where we ended up. Hard to rate, in a way, because we stayed just one night, and it looked like the hotel was in the middle of some pretty major renovating. Our room was comfortable, certainly adequate, but looked like it was being remodeled as well: big, virtually empty room as we entered, just two small tables in it. Looked like at some point, possibly another bed--or more likely a pull-out sleeper couch--would be added, since there was a TV in that room as well as one in the bedroom. Bed was comfortable, shower was great (except that because of the way the door slid, you couldn't turn the water on before you got in the shower without getting water all over the floor). Lots of traffic noise, sirens in the area, some pops that could've been firecrackers or something else outside the building during the night. The elevator we used had non-responsive buttons: the door would close, but then when we pushed a button to go up or down, the elevator didn't move. One time we got it to go finally; the other time we ended up getting out and going to a different elevator. Some hallway carpets were dirty (as were the stairwells), some were covered in plastic, some were missing entirely. Despite all that, our stay was uneventful, comfortable and affordable."
