Reviews of AMC Northridge 10
"This theater does not meet expectations for an AMC experience. The bathrooms were not clean and very stinky and the seats in the theater are dated and uncomfortable. Will not be going here again until it is updated. We highly recommend the AMC Porter Ranch which is nearby instead. Loved our experience there in comparison and will return."
"This theater needs an overhaul. It really does feel and look dirty compared to other AMC locations. The seats are so uncomfortable and everything is worn down far past its prime. Parts of the ceiling are falling out and the whole thing just has a weird odor to it. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a mold issue here. The staff is also extremely slow, getting concessions on a busy night can be torture. They need to offer discount tickets and concessions to make it even worth coming here!"
"If you had the option to go to another AMC like the Porter Ranch or Burbank one then I would highly suggest going there. It seem like what AMC did when it took over the building from Pacific Theater was added their soda/icee machine, take out the little arcade games, put up their AMC logo and updated some stuff at the popcorn station. We came here to watch Five Nights at Freddy in Theater 2 and it wasn't a good experience. You can't see the aisle numbers because there no shining on the letters and it's not glow in the dark color. You can barely see the seats number too so most guest will have their phone flash on. The chairs are also not adjustable so it wasn't comfortable. You can also hear the other theater room audio so just be aware. The men's bathroom urinal doesn't have any privacy wall so it's just open which is so sad."
"Kind old Movie theater, but i give them 5 star because they showing SOUND OF FREEDOM. Matinee is $10 before 4pm. PLease spread the word. Everybody must see SOUND OF FREEDOM TO CREAT AWARENESS."
"This is one of the older AMCs. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was empty and nice. However, the seats in my theater were not very comfortable (theater 4). The only cool thing about this old building was the bathroom which felt like a time machine. That being said, it's located in a mall so there's a lot of food and fun stuff to explore before or after the movie."
