"About half way between Santa Barbara and Solvang. We stayed here for 3 nights in our RV and explored both places. Very clean and well organized. Simple check in, flat site with lots of space for the RV and towed vehicle. Heated pool and spa, laundry, bathrooms, showers, store, dog area, play ground, and trail to the beach. Located just in couple of minutes from the highway but very quiet at night. Massive tent camping area which had different groups staying there."
"Cleanest “camping bathrooms “ I’ve had the pleasure of using…. Take a hike up the mountain and look out at the beautifulness of the ocean. Could never go wrong w a clean pool and inviting hot tub! Been here twice and can’t wait to go back"
"We chose Sun Outdoors Santa Barbara for our son’s first birthday. The staff were great, although one gal in the front had better things to do the day after Christmas and she made that clear. The sites were mostly level side to side, the campground is hilly, and the southwest corner tree ripped my roof membrane. I swung it super wide and it was ironically the side i swung wide that ripped my roof membrane. Thats the reason for the 4 stars. The maintenance staff were super friendly, the beach was exactly a mile bike ride south, and overall nice atmosphere. The highway getting there sucked, but the 101 isn’t know for smooth. We took a trip to Solvang, which was packed as expected but close to the camp ground. Would stay again"
"We stayed at sun outdoors for 1 night while we were in transit to San Diego. We booked same day which was no issue at all. The lady on the phone was very helpful and check in process was fast and easy. Our only complaint was the spaces were very tight. We are full time RVers and we have definitely seen some tight sites but I think this was the tightest we had to fit our RV and our pickup into. It wasn't that big of an issue since we were staying one night but for longer stays I could see it being a little difficult. The park is about 15 minutes to Santa Barbara and easily accessible for the highway. Overall it was a decent stay."
