"I'd been going to Dr. Shinners since I was a child and eventually saw the new doctor who was nice. The dental assistant who helped with my crown was the absolute worst. I was told repeatedly that I should be worried because there should be no pain especially when changing the temporary crown to the permanent one. When they took off the temporary crown, I had severe pain that shot down through the tooth and went through my body like I was being electrocuted. I told her I was in pain and I started crying from the pain and she yelled at me and said there's no reason it should hurt and that I needed to knock it off or she would have me leave and come back when I could "get it together". I told her I am NOT leaving in the pain I felt and she said she wouldn't continue to work on my tooth until I quit it. The doctor ended up numbing the area after a bit of this and got the permanent crown on but I will NEVER go back. I had dental anxiety before this and they caused me to stop going for a couple years afterwards. I found a new dentist who said that that never should have happened because I should have had a root canal done on the tooth. It's been 3/4 years now and I am finally getting these issues fixed with dentists who are actually helpful and not rude. I wouldn't suggest my worst enemy go here."

"Let me start by saying, the people alone, make this place 5 stars. Everyone is super down to earth and so uplifting.. I'm in my 40s and hadn't had proper dental care in several years due to C-19 and my dentist retiring. I've been scared to go to the dentist because most places you go, the dentist tells you how bad your mouth is and almost shames you if you havent been in awhile. I have been discouraged by some places before, so when my filling broke I was nervous to come here. I was able to get seen right away and they took detailed pictures of my mouth. When all was said and done, they really gave me a positive outlook on dental care. And never shamed me or made me feel bad!!! We set up a plan to rectify the lack of care from the past years and how to properly move forward. The dental Techs were SUPER cool. They explained fears of the dentist or dental issues they also had too. It really puts you at ease."
