"I Arrived early as I was the first appointment of the morning. NP arrived at 9:05 and my appt was at 9:10. She took my paperwork for my daughters physical, went into her room. We waited until 9:20 until I finally said, as we are ready to be seen? She opened the door rudely and said I’m sorry I’m the only one here and they book the appts too close. I was the first appt and no one else was there! She started with my daughters eye test. Her vision is not very good so she was struggling. She then stopped the exam and told me to be quiet and I need to stop talking to my daughter. I wasn’t even talking to her. This then made my daughter nervous and uncomfortable to proceed with the eye test. She missed a few letters so we stopped the test. The NP explained that she can’t pass my daughters physical because she was unable to read one line. Ultimately, she was very rude from the minute she walked in, which then intimidated my daughter and enabled her to complete the test. The NP was unprofessional and needs to go back and learn “bedside manners”."
"Nurse Katlyn (maybe it was Katheryn) was completely useless! I went in to remove one suture from a blepharoplasty that is placed 6 days ago (within the healing periods of 3-7 days) She acknowledged it was not infected, and agreed it could be the location or maybe a little too tight causing stinging. She was hesitant to remove first because it didn't say anywhere in guideline it could be removed even if it's on the website! Removing sutures is one of their services! She called to get approval. After that she seemed scared to clean or touch anything, then she just said she didn't feel comfortable removing one stitch! It was literally just cutting a tiny knot! If I could see I would do it myself! It is within the healing period! It was not going to unravel the wound or open anything! She didn't even have to pull anything, literally just cut the knot at the end! This lady should not be in the medical industry ! She is too scared to do anything! She is paralyzed by fear and hinders her ability to make decisions and act! Completely USELESS! She mentioned previously working in a surgical room, this is probably exactly why she is no longer there and working at a CVS Minute Clinic! Well, newsflash- She can't even do simple things either! Only reason I came here was because I couldn't find an open Urgent Care. Guess I will use valuable resources at an ER because of this useless nurse !"
"I’m a doctor visiting from out of state. My pregnant wife began having symptoms of a uti and we completed an over-the-counter uti test that showed leukocytes in her urine confirming the need for antibiotics. We thought this would be the best, quickest place to get things done. We arrived right at opening, she spent 1.5 hours there until she was finally seen only to have the NP tell her she had to go to the ER because she “wasn’t having pain with urination so it wasn’t a uti” (despite the other positive symptoms and the pyuria). My wife tried explaining that she is a nurse and that her husband was a doctor and that she had just had an appointment a few days ago with her OB who did an ultrasound and that everything was normal and fine and that she just needed an antibiotic however the NP wouldn’t even run her urine or do any tests and sent her away. I’m incredibly disappointed and upset that things could have easily been taken care of here before she developed pyelonephritis on our vacation."
"Took my 5 and 7 year-olds here for flu shots. Used the “hold my place in line option” and as soon as we checked in we were seen! Very friendly and pleasant doctor, put the kids at ease. She administered the shots herself, and did it so quickly and smoothly that neither child cried. So two thumbs up from us!"
"Waste 2 1/2 hours of my day. Ended up at my doctor for treatment because minute clinic wasn't capable. Here's the details: Wait: I was number four in line and things were moving but slowly. The problem was the nurse treated two people in one appt slot time, essentially bumping the rest of us out another 40 minutes . Two people left out of frustration. I should have followed but instead I waited it out since I was traveling and had to get my strep treated. Incompetence: She misdiagnosed and based on her explanation I lost all confidence. Luckily I was able to get an appt with my doctor who gave me the antibiotic needed and I'm recovering... And will be able to travel. I will NEVER use CVS Minute clinic again."
