"The San Clemente location has gone DOWNHILL. I checked in at 8:00 for 8:20 appointment. There was only one person working at the front desk and not many patients. She looked like she just rolled out of bed. After checking-in, I waited...and waited...and at 9:30 went to see what was going on when the woman called me for my CT scan. I learned that the technician was an independent contractor--which seemingly translates to not taking any initiative to check on her 8:20 patient. Instead I listened to her say she was 'glad she had extra time since her 8:20 patient didn't show up'. There was no explanation for why this happened...perhaps a 'glitch' in the front desk/check-in system, but she clearly did not care. Then, during the scan she instructed me to hold my breath, but never told me when I could resume breathing! I asked if she would tell me the next time to which she responded, 'The machine is supposed to do that but it doesn't work.' Overall, my experience was far from the professional standard I have experienced at that location in the past. As I left, I spoke with a frail older woman with her son. She was the patient scheduled behind me and had been waiting for over two hours after being instructed to arrive an hour early. I chatted with them for a couple minutes -- complimenting her son for accompanying his mother (cancer patient?). She commented that she felt bad about him taking time off from work to help her. It was disgraceful to witness this level of disrespect. Also, it's not like they were overly busy. It was first thing in the morning and there were only 4 or 5 people the entire time I was there! Hopefully whoever reads this will contact me to discuss my experience. There's actually more to the story, but the core issue is that the employees DO NOT CARE."
"This may be the most incompetent facility in the entire medical industry, which is saying a lot. Administratively, they are terrible. They will make an appointment with you (that you physically went in to set at the location), confirm it on the day of the appointment, only for you to arrive on the day and the person at the desk says "oh, um, we had your appointment at another location (30 minutes away)". What!?!? For a procedure the doctor requested "asap", and confirmed twice for the location I'm at right now?? So bad. Also, this is a pattern. My first visit, they spelled my name wrong and couldn't find me in the system! They always seem either under-staffed or their process/procedures are so complex that there is this concentration of people waiting just to check in for 20 mins. Avoid this place if you can. Its a poorly managed facility!"
"Staff at the site were quite helpful and very nice. However making the appointment over the phone speaking with someone that was very hard to understand he said his name was Ralph . The room he was in was so noisy and hard to hear and understand. So many people in the room all speaking loudly!! If I ever have to have something done I will go to the site and make an appointment. This needs to be addressed! But you probably don’t care ."
