Pismo Beach Hotel

"The only thing cool about this place is the location - this was our second time back this weekend and it was probably the worst hotel experience of my life. The rooms are very outdated, but so is the building so whatever HOWEVER, the beds were rock hard and one of them had a big indent in the center. The towels were stained and as if that wasn't bad enough, we got to listen to our neighbors doing it all night, screaming, slapping, the whole nine yards. If you're a partier, sure this is a good location but if you have kids do not stay here. I am beyond disappointed. The check in/check out staff also just seemed totally bothered. The location is top notch simply due to the parking but I'll spend a little more and go somewhere else next time."

"This is our second time staying here and our last. While we love the location and the old building, you will hear EVERYTHING from the rooms next to you if the people aren’t quiet. My family has got to listen to a lady screaming during her “time” with her partner about every hour since 11 PM, intense slapping and a very loud TV. It’s one thing to hear someone but completely different when you feel like they’re in the same room as you. My poor kids are exhausted!"

"The rooms are like any other hotel, you will have to deal with the nightlife of Pismo so if going with family I wouldn’t recommend. You’re about a ten minute walk to the beach which is nice. Service here is the worst. They have no help from their staff at the front. Don’t try to book with them personally as they will quote you one thing and then Jack up the price 3 minutes later, $80 more for two nights to be exact. No manager on duty over the weekends so if you’re looking for resolution to any issues they will contact after you have already left. Much nicer places to stay in Pismo, don’t bother with this hotel, not worth it."

"The location is good, but if your room faces the main road you hear everything. Also you can hear the band from the bar. In addition if you stay in room 403 don’t plan on sleeping. The bed makes so much noise we weren’t sure if it was the box spring or the frame but if you roll over a lot when you sleep forget about it. The staff are nice but spend a little more and stay in a different hotel."
