"They charged my credit card as soon as booked the room 2 months prior to our stay ,New Management Company, stayed in a dog-friendly Cabana and then was charged additional fee of 96.00 dollars, no microwave in the room refrigerator was next to the toilet"

"New owners ( a year or 2)are starting to make changes. They have made some pet policy changes and our normal bay view rooms with private sitting area and a gorgeous view , no longer allows dogs! Only the motel style "garden rooms" with a front view of cars parked or a bungalow way in the back are pet friendly now. Odd, since Baywood is SUPER dog friendly. Also, you can no longer book a specific room on line. Let's add another step and require a phone call to see if a specific room is possible. Still an adorable spot with a nice long time staff. If you travel with dog , explore the nearby lodging options that have bigger, pet friendly private patio rooms. So disappointing that we have lost our patio bay view unless we leave our dog home."

"I've been living in this area for 30 years now, been taking and playing down by the bay since the early 90s, I am really unhappy with the new ownership when they get it off the grass area to The back Bay, me and my friends were taking ourselves and are now our kids to the back Bay for many many years now and I just found out and saw that they put fences around the grass area. This was a spot for me and my friends to come and have fun with our kids in the bay with a grassy area, . my question to the new owners is why would you put up a gate of surrounding the grassy area? This has been a spot for many families to gather and have picnics and enjoy the sunsets, and now the community cannot enjoy this spot that has been open to us for many years"
