"I came in at 4:42 PM on Feb 15 to the El Monte clinic Suite D (imaging). I went in as a walk-in. I literally got off the phone with my medical provider (Health Care L.A.) and they referred me to your clinic (specifically because I hoped to be seen today). My medical provider and I were off the phone at 3:31 PM. They said the authorization would be sent over between 10-15 minutes. I explained this to the two health care workers (I didn’t receive their names). They let me know I wasn’t in the system, as I had never been there before. And that unfortunately, my authorization hadn’t gone through. I understand that miscommunication happens and electronic errors happen all the time. I don’t hold your clinic responsible for the authorization supposedly not going through. I decided to wait until about 4:05 PM. I got out of work at 2:30 PM and had been on the phone with my insurance from 3-3:30 PM. My issue started with the two women when they were (not so quietly) whispering about me. Your lobby isn’t that big and the volume on the television isn’t that loud. I heard them talking about me. Literally, repeating everything I had just said to one another. I felt like I walked into an establishment that was about to close and didn’t want to “deal” with another customer. And then after some time, I hear them say, “She should’ve come in earlier.” I understand this could have very possibly not been about me, but my gut says otherwise. I felt the whole situation was rude and unprofessional. I did let the two women know, “I wasn’t certain if you both were talking about me, but if you were it’s rude.” They assured me they weren’t. Their demeanor gave: Toxic worker vibes. If management cares about the “face” of their clinic, these women would be further trained on service."

"Went in for appointment with my aunt and handled all paperwork with Loretta at from desk. May I say she was kind, knowledgeable about listened well. We felt comfortable and in good hands. A great facility to get an X-ray or an MRI if you need one. Clean and inviting with plenty of parking in the rear lot. Main entrance is off the rear. When you get there ask for Loretta and tell her “ have mercy” And she will set you up!!"

"I’m always grateful to have reasons to leave a positive review online, especially for a medical office. My X-ray tech Evan was friendly and supportive as I had my bone scan- which was so quick and easy. There was a super short wait time, good music playing in the lobby, and easy parking in the lot. Also, when I visited a couple weeks later to get a copy of results from another Centrelake location, the supervisor Eileen G was extremely polite and helpful getting me what I needed. Medical procedures can be nerve-wracking but it’s much better when the people are like this staff!"
