"I came in for an abdomen ultrasound and the ladies were nice checking me in and everything especially because I arrived super early. However, keep in mind this appointment was at 5pm. I fasted for 6 hours (no eating as most know fasting directly means no EATING). My technician tells me if I had anything and I told her water prior to 2:30PM, I work a 9am to 5pm job typically, so not eating can be a bit difficult. Apparently, I couldn’t drink any water either… the scheduler never informed me of that when he made my appointment. Also, the technician told me that the lady who checked me in was incorrect in how long I could fast yet she didn’t correct her directly? The lady said I could fast 4 to 6 hours before my appointment, but the technician said it’s 6 hours prior. So now, I have to be scheduled more than a week out. But thank god it’s at a better radio imaging place, which is not here."
