"How things can change. Making notes of my second visit to Nu Attitude. One of the main things that I go to a salon for is to get a perm. It adds body and volume to my fine & not very thick hair. A good perm will literally transform my tresses. My fine hair is not the norm. It is extremely easy to curl, so it is important for the stylist to listen. Sadly, this time she did not. My hair was literally ruined. Now it is some months later, and I still cannot get the frizz out of it without cutting it off where the perm exists. During the course of the process of getting my perm, I was essentially ignored. A conversation went on between my stylist, Melissa, and another stylish working there that day. Comments were made as though I weren't even there. Hard to grasp. Melissa conversed with one of the other stylists about not minding giving a perm due to the smell, because after all, "It smells like money." Nice. Am I missing something? Do other hair processes smell really good? Does bleach and hair dye smell good? I was particularly frustrated, because I thought I had found a really good salon. Previous appointment: This was my first time at this salon. So glad I went! I got Melissa, who not only seems to be an absolute expert, but also listened to my every need and came through 100%. I am not your average customer and have specific issues. Melissa was absolutely terrific!! She also has a perfect temperament for cosmetology and seems to truly enjoy her work. Very pleasant overall atmosphere and no aspect of disappointment whatsoever. I walked out a very happy and satisfied customer."
