Reviews
"Totally unethical practice, great original doctor... otherwise no information on provided about costs over insurance... and then there is the associate doctor who injected me without my knowledge or permission for a drug that lasted over 12 hours...and told me I could drive and go to work....I was out of it...my employer sent me home"
"Could never recommend to anyone. I happen to be out of the country for my next appointment, and when I called 6 weeks ahead of time to reschedule, they told me my only option was to skip one of my two annual cleanings and just reschedule for 8 months from now. I can't take seriously any medical professional whose care for me extends as far as "We recommend you skip preventative care for our convenience." It took exactly 15 minutes to find another local dentist who was happy to schedule me; cheers!"
"Amazing staff! They are always so accommodating, especially with little ones! They do whatever they can to help you! I never do reviews but feel like I had to after today!! They really are amazing!"
"Don't normally do reviews but this place was just exemplary. I avoided the dentist for years because I got a lot of passive aggressiveness from previous experiences with other practices, so I was very nervous to try going again. Have seen Drs. Burns and Biederwolf so far, and a couple of hygienists, all of whom were very personable and non-judgmental, and just gave me the objective facts about what my situation was without shaming me and told me how I can start taking better care of my teeth, of which I feel more inspired to do after visiting them. The reception staff are also pleasant and try their best to work with your schedule and get you in ASAP, especially if you have a more pressing issue. Definitely recommend going here if you are normally anxious about going to the dentist."
"A former dentist continued to tell me for years that my tooth pain was a tooth they had previously worked on and that I needed a root canal or extraction. I didn't feel they were accurately assessing my pain and never returned. I called Dr. Skarr's office for a second opinion and got in to see Dr. Brady within a few days. Despite my anxiety around dentists, the staff I interacted with are all incredibly nice. Most importantly, they don't push services you don't need. I am glad I went to see Dr. Brady - she did plenty of testing, was honest when I asked if something would hurt (although I was expecting the worst and nothing was really that bad), and advised I don't need any additional treatment and potentially what could be causing my issue and what to keep an eye out for. I would highly recommend they add questions about neurodiversity and mental health questions on their new patient questionnaire and continue to screen for these at continuing services, as those with autism, ADHD, MH and/or other neurodiverse markers may need a more “gentle” hygienist and someone who is educated in how these conditions can affect dental care for individuals at home and in their chair. Sometimes it is not easy to come out and say we have these conditions and there are health and dental care professionals who view us as making excuses rather than the very real situations they are. I don't really need my hygienist making rude comments about me being truthful about the fact that I don't always remember to brush my teeth to make rude comments to the dentist when they come in for their evaluation."
