"I’ve been going to Area Dental my whole life for cleanings without a problem until recently when I had actual work done. I needed my first small cavity filled and the Dr. did not explain anything that was happening when they began so I had a full panic attack and could feel pain after multiple attempts at numbing. I then had to get a temporary filling. The second attempt I was prescribed a nerve blocker that had no effect on me, if anything it made my anxiety worse. Turns out it was because the medication I take counteracted the drug meaning my chart was not checked before it was prescribed. They had to send me home again without completing the filling. The Dr. I had the second time was much more accommodating and understanding although I still left feeling like I was being too difficult, over reacting, and like I was wasting their time. I am now switching to a different dentist."

I had the pleasure of having my teeth cleaned by Lynn and not only was she incredibly friendly, she also took the time to educate me on dental care. She showed me the proper method for flossing, gave me a mirror to show me the different color of my gums and explained what the coloring means, pointed things out to me on my x-ray, and so on."

From the moment I stepped up to the front desk I was impressed with the friendliness and gratitude everyone expressed for me coming to the clinic. Laura was wonderful with the cleaning. Her and Dr. Megan gave me options and explained things well. I was also grateful for multiple comments to just call if there are any problems with my teeth and they would get me in quickly. Oh, and a few days later, I received a lovely thank you note. It felt like such a personal, caring atmosphere. Very impressed !
