"First time here for a mammogram. They took me in a few minutes early and I was out in a flash. They were prompt, respectful, and courteous. Terrific front desk staff. Highly recommend!"
"The first experience, the tech referred to my wife as my mother. Very uncool and hurtful to my wife, who has health issues. The second time, they came out and said we had to wait for 3 hours past our appointment time because of some stupid reason; it was clear the person was lying. The admin then told another lie the next day about what happened. The third experience was total misreading of a result. Her doctor had to call RA and ask them to read the results again; they got it right the second time. Don't go to these people, particularly the clowns at the Pismo location."
"I am surprised to see some of the negative reviews, as my experience has been different. I have had two MRIs done here over the past year and everything, down to the person on the phone scheduling the appointment, was great. First of all...they ANSWER the phone. This is huge, as the other two imaging places on the Central Coast do not. You have to call over and over for an hour or two (no exaggeration) to get through. The front desk was pleasant, I was seen in a timely manner, the MRI techs were friendly and professional. Just had to schedule a CT scan and Radiology Associates was my first choice, hands down."
"One of the worst experiences in a medical office, hands down. Upon checking in I was informed that I was scheduled wrong- totally fine- people make mistakes. While trying to confirm that I'd be seen for the correct service, the front desk gal asked the tech assigned to me to confirm that she could accommodate me. Immediately upon looking at the order (which states bilateral scans to be done) and hearing what I was requesting (bilateral scans as instructed by my doctor), the tech visibly smiling and chuckling the entirety of our interaction, was stating that she would decide what was needed. She then proceeded to make the decision, against the written order from the doctor, to complete a limited exam rather than a complete exam. Already in a vulnerable state and seeking help, being laughed at and mocked left no room for me to desire any conversation during my exam. Kelly the tech decided to double down - while I'm naked in her room, and in between laughs, stating that I could find another tech to help me if I didn't want to explain to her all of my symptoms...the type of thing you do with your doctor who then refers you over to this center for further care. Kelly stated that I HAD to explain further to her in order for her to do her exam. This is false. She stated that at my age I can't have that much radiation. Also false. I'm so sorry to anyone who is seeking help and is met with this atrocity of a woman. I have worked in the patient care industry for over 15 years and I have never seen such horrible care given. Under no circumstances should Kelly be allowed to interact with patients further than her scope of work, and even that is iffy!"
"Because of a problem with workers comp and I needed a MRI quickly, I had to pay cash. I needed a receipt to bill the workers comp and the receptionist said she could only give me a hard copy. This "receipt" was basically a disclaimer and a lecture on not having insurance, which I do, but could not use under these circumstances. The amount I paid was written in by hand. I ended up calling the billing dept. the next day and getting it emailed to me like I had asked the receptionist as she was scanning it into the computer in front of me. It all looked and felt sloppy. Everything else there is just okay, you're a number."
