"My recent stay at the Hyatt Place San Jose Airport left much to be desired. While the hotel's location near the airport was convenient, offering a free shuttle service as advertised on the website, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The hard product itself was standard and lacked any distinctive features, with rooms that were basic and priced higher than nearby alternatives. However, what truly soured my experience was the lack of service from the front desk staff members. Despite the website advertising free shuttle service up to 10:30 PM, my wife experienced a series of frustrating delays and miscommunications when trying to use this service upon arrival. Despite attempts to address the issue with staff, ultimate my wife called her own ride, and promises of follow-up from management were unfulfilled. The disappointing service and communication left me hesitant to return to either the Hyatt Place or Hyatt House managed by the same General Manager. If this level of service is indicative of the management's approach across both properties, I advice you to explore other lodging options."

"I had not-so-great experience with the Hyatt. There were issues with hygiene and room service. The room was in the same filthy shape and no room service was done and garbage was not removed even after requesting the same. The receptionist apologized but that’s not what we pay for. After some heated conversation, she agreed to move us to the room next door which was clean. But, we had to move all the stuff to the new room ourselves which took us another 30 minutes as the house keeping wasn't available. I emailed the manager Noel but she never responded to my email. I would prefer to stay at any other hotel which has more professional courtesy."

"Hyatt Place San Jose Airport is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in my life, and I've stayed at quite a few. The room is super cozy and modern - it has a unique layout to it. Showers have a great temperature and easily adjustable to the hot/cold setting at which you desire. Breakfast options are aplenty with sliced fruit, eggs, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and more. The lounge area on the first floor where the bar is very comfortable, and you can order food from the restaurant until 11:30 p.m. I believe. Hotel staff is knowledgeable and present. They have plenty of options at the receptionist desk in case you would like to purchase drinks and snacks. Only cons I would say is the bed can be too soft and the waffles they had for breakfast were stale."
