Regal Edwards South Gate

"Avoid Theatre 8. The screen is damaged with the silver spray looking like pixelation with a glitter effect through the center of the screen. It makes any film look terrible. Apparently the theatre owners know amount this and are too cheap to fix. Maybe because this is South Gate, lots of working class people, they just can’t be bothered. Management refunded my ticket but not worth the hassle for a sub par viewing experience."

"Such a beautiful theater. The seats were well shined and comfy. Concessions were well priced and adequate. My only issue was the lack of service by 3 employees when I entered. I stood at box office, and they looked but at me BUT did not end their conversation. I finally approached them to inquire how to buy tickets. I almost left but decided to stay. Glad I did because this is a gem"

"Went for the first time. Was amazed how big the building was. It didn't have any Regal sign so I was thrown off a bit. It had a huge Edward outside with like ruins and stuff. We walked in and were greeted by a staff member who was very polite, and a big cart of dots ice cream. The place was a bit empty but was really clean! They had a good amount of games to play while you wait for your movie. Nice snack variety. Got to our theater room and boom! Old @$$ seats. They need to update the place. Other Regal locations have more updated seating and speakers. Overall I would come back for sure. Just hope they get an update soon!"

"Everybody is friendly, and helpful, and if you want to watch a movie in the smell of a real movie theater in a setting that looks like a Stranger Things episode, this place is the place! They also have an imax which is great!"

"Huge movie theater with 20 screens and IMAX, parking is free. Never crowded on weeknights. Tickets are easily purchased by the main entrance through a self service kiosk. Tickets are $12.90 for adults on a week night. They do sell beer here which is nice if that's your thing. A 12oz can of blue moon is $9.90. Which is as expensive as it gets. If you're buying anything at the concession stand they don't accept cash. Inside it's very clean and the seats are comfortable. Only minus is that the image on the screen is not really clear it's kind of dull/distorted like the lense on the projector is burned out. I've seen a couple movies here in different showrooms and in one of them, theater 16 screen had a line going through it that was visible and the screen was dirty."
