Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas Inglewood IMAX

"I am a huge fan of Mexico City’s Cinepolis and have been going to many locations across California since the mid 2010s. They specialize in recliner seating and food/drink service delivered to your seat. It’s probably my favorite movie chain and has been the most consistent for me. I relocated to LA in early 2020 from San Diego and must have gone to the SD locations at least a hundred times. This Inglewood location is surprisingly the only location in LA and is located inside Hollywood Park mall, which is right next to SoFi stadium. The mall itself has zero shops open except for Cinepolis so it’s the only reason currently to visit the mall. There is a large parking structure right next to Cinepolis so parking is extremely easy. They validate for 3 hours but since I saw Dune 2 and it was longer than usual we had to pay $15 for parking even after validating so beware of parking costs, which was the main downside of going to this location. We saw Dune 2 in one of their IMAX screens and it was worth it. The sound even shook my seats and made for a very immersive experience. We ordered drinks and snacks and all arrived quickly and were very good. I plan to be back in the future to see more movies, however I hope to understand the parking pricing better next time."

"I saw Dune 2 and Terminator. It was a great experience. The chairs were very comfortable. The whole interior is fancy. I didn't order any food because everything there is expensive, but I probably will next time. I do have two complaints. Both men's bathrooms had no soap, and the green exit signs in the theaters are distracting when the movie is in a dark scene. If they can be turned off or the lights dimmed a lot, at least that would be great."

"My third time here. The first two times were great. The third time I had to ask 3 different servers for my drink, not to mention I had to ask for popcorn twice, people who arrived after me got their popcorn before me. I finally asked for a manager who NEVER arrived. I got a small discount, but it didn’t really make up for the frustration during the movie when I should have been enjoying the movie. The seats are comfortable, the food is decent, the drinks are good. Overall it's nice clean and has really nice well lit bar."

"My first IMAX experience, and it was great! The cinema has great interior, and a giant screen. Best part: you can get food delivered to your seat at any point (with "bottomless popcorn bucket" as one of the options)"

"My experience here was great. The ambiance really matched the name. Ordering mid movie wasn't as complicated as I thought it would be. The service was fast, and the food was super delicious. I recommend the spicy ranch wings paired with the tater tots. The chicken quesadilla was spicy but good nonetheless. Will definitely be going back"
