Reviews of Santa Barbara International Film
"While there are many wonderful films at this film festival, I am concerned about the "sponsored" films they present. Currently (2023) they have a film about Fauci sponsored by Cottage Health. Of course, the film is all about portraying him as a superhero and best father and husband. For the sake of their credibility, I think the festival programmers need to be aware of these choices when adding "sponsored content" and they should be very careful with films that could be interpreted as propaganda."
"So grateful life changing and so fun thank you for the amazing inspiration and entertainment"
"I could not afford it but I watched from across the street in the Ledbetter Beach parking lot. I watched the opening movie Roger came out and started the festivities. I watched a movie about migrant workers really hit close to home. I'm a child of migrant workers."
"Wow this just brings the worst tourists. I nearly get hit by someone every year. And seriously the pretentious conversations are always mindnumbingly infuriating. Please respect the locals."
