Los Gatos Lodge

"This place seems like it used to be an old dorm or something. The rooms are in groups of buildings around the area and they are right next door to Los Gatos School. The photos online of this place are probably about 10 years old and the place hasn't changed in those years. The outside area is really nice but the rooms themselves are outdated. We walked into a room that looked like it was from the 70's. The carpet is old, they have an old heater and air conditioner. The TV was missing the buttons on it to do anything with it. We opened the cabinet that has the fridge and then opened the cabinet that has the microwave and boom, we found a cockroach. We killed it right away but then looked everywhere to see if there were anymore. I looked under the beds and found garbage under them. The shower is so small it is almost like it was made for students. They have a medicine cabinet which looks really old. The linen felt like rough sandpaper and I was awaken by the neighbor snoring and I could hear it through the walls."

"I stayed longer than I wanted to, till our apartment got ready. Very friendly staff. Professional courtesy. I highly recommend to stay any amount of time."

"The stay here was horrible, The room was filthy. the carpet was extremely filthy with a lot of stains that appeared people had animals in the room and they potty'd everywhere, there's was a wall unit A/C and a portable unit in the bed room that made a lot of noise and had a towel in front to regulate air flow, the toilet ran continuously and I believe the people 2 doors down were smoking and they live there! Not a good place to stay at any price. When you search the website it shows this beautiful place with a restaurant and bar it shows a full breakfast menu but they say they don't have any of that, funny when you go outside early morning it smells like they're cooking. There's another building of rooms attached behind the office that's roped off wonder what those accommodations are? Anyway we won't be back, Best Western across the street is EXCELLENT!"

"This place was awesome. The front desk people were nice and very attentive. Me and family members were there for the 4th July holiday weekend and it was fantastic! We reserved 2 rooms with double beds for a group of 7. Rooms were big and super clean."

"Here for the Cats Hill races, and needed a last minute place for the night that was pet friendly. The staff was very helpful over the phone and in person when we got there. The grounds are very pretty and there's a nice courtyard. They have bigger fancier rooms, but we booked a basic but very clean king with an extremely comfortable bed with five comfy pillows. There was a small refrigerator and microwave, and two complimentary bottles of water. We had a sliding glass door that opened out to a small patio with a table and 2 chairs that overlook the courtyard. Pretty close to downtown as well, and in a nice safe area with safe parking. There is a restaurant, a bar, and a nice outdoor pool. Wish we could have stayed longer."
