Ship Shape Express Car Wash

"My first and last visit to Ship Shape Car Wash. Rude and obnoxious staff!!! Went to Ship Shape, Mormon Coulee Road in La Crosse, on 2/26/24. Having never been there before, I drove in and saw a sign on the building that said lobby. I thought I needed to go into the lobby to pay for a car wash. As I'm approaching the door, a male employee opened the door and said "LOBBY'S CLOSED"! I said "I want to get my car washed". He said "Go over there, that guy will help you". As I turned to see who he was talking about, a guy came out of the little booth, walked over to me and said something in complete gibberish. (I'm pretty he thought he was being funny in front of the other guy, but he wasn't) I said "Excuse me"? He said "DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH"??? i went back to my car to leave. I then decided I want to file a complaint with the owner, so I went back to the door. The same guy opened the door again and said "THE LOBBY'S CLOSED"! I asked for the owners name. He said Joe. I asked for the last name and a phone number. He said "We can't give you that". So, I left. I know Ship Shape won't miss my twenty bucks, but I'll also be washing my car elsewhere from now on. Staff needs customer service training...badly!!!"

"The soft touch left my 2024 less than 1,000 car with thin spiderweb looking scratches across the entirety of my car. When I spoke to the manager he was extremely condescending, talked down to me the entire conversation and basically told me they were absolutely not liable for any of it, had me fill out an incident report which I'm fairly confident they put in the "circular file" aka the garbage. Completely unacceptable customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I literally drove it off the lot last week. It was the first car wash it ever had and now it will need body work done."

"Easy, quick and convenient. The wash got my car clean, dryers could do a better job drying, otherwise two thumbs up for family fun."

"Got my car cleaner than it was. Equipment is a lil dirty and older than me but when it ain't broken don't need to fix it. I'd take any car under 30k here no problem."

"Okay, reviewed their services on their website and decided to stop in for a full car wash. I'm in Lacrosse for Thanksgiving so only the express wash was open. Reasonable. But it was a waste of $20 as the road grim from the 10 hour drive from MI to WI was still on the car. Seriously, see the photos. Would not recommend this car wash based upon my experience. Go elsewhere."
