"horrible experience! broken microwave shared bathroom with public. Not telling about an early purchase cancellation then paying $62.79 for two rooms one with no microwave or refrigerator while the other had a broken microwave you coudn't even open writing on the wall. If you stay the night even if it was forced, you cannot get a refund I suggest anyone who wants a good hotel in San Francisco go somewhere else this place in uncomfortable and gross. Note the fact they are rude to you after they get their money so don't try to be a customer they will pretend like you don't exist. There's bedbugs as well"
"This hotel is rude. They do not provide the slightest customer service. Also, the TV does not work and there is no air conditioning. The weather was very hot. You cannot sleep because of the atmosphere and the customers who talk loudly. If you ask for a towel for bathing, you must go down and take it from them because they do not respond to customer service. This is the most bad hotel I have ever seen. my life"
"What an awesome crashpad to explore San Francisco’s crazy grid from! Ritesh was able to book me in a single room with it’s own bathroom, but some of the rooms are SRO style with shared bathrooms between multiple dorms on the same floor for a reduced fee. Cozy urban digs without a lot of frills, but not a lot of faults either. Could hear street sounds and the door buzzer faintly in my room, but that’s the big city baybe!"
"My flight arrived very early, and front desk staff accommodated me and let me check in several hours earlier than the stated time. They were just finishing up cleaning the room when I arrived, and it seemed fine. They showed me all of the room's amenities in detail so I had a chance to raise any concerns beforehand, and I didn't have any. The linens in my room looked like they'd been recently replaced. Some of the reviews on here state that there are no private bathrooms, but this isn't true: most of the rooms don't have a private bathroom, but some of them do, so you need to make sure you've selected it when you're booking. The shower in my private bathroom was huge with strong water pressure, which was a big plus. I rated 3 for the room mostly because the walls aren't very sound-proof, so you're going to hear the people next to you if they're overly loud. There were a few nights where people got aggressively loud in the hallway and in the room next to me in the middle of the night. It's kind of a crapshoot what noise level you get. Most of this being an issue is just due to the building being pretty old. If you're a heavy sleeper, you'll be fine. The lock on the door also seemed pretty strong, so I didn't feel unsafe or anything despite whatever nonsense was going on in the hall. I did frequently have to reconnect to the wifi due to a weak signal, but my room was near the end of the hallway on the 2nd floor, so you might not have this experience elsewhere in the building. The location for this hotel is great, though. It's right next to a MUNI metro station that can easily take you to the BART. It's also steps away from the bus line that takes you straight down Mission St, so if you like incredible food you're going to have easy access to a lot of that. For full disclosure, the opposite side of Fell St had a small encampment, which I guess could make some visitors uncomfortable, but the people occupying tents just kept to themselves and are just trying to live their lives. You can easily stick to the other side of the street if you're super worried about it, but the area didn't feel unsafe. Overall I was satisfied with the room. It was cozy, and I just needed a roof over my head for a week and wasn't looking for anything super fancy. It's under 100 bucks a night, so don't go in expecting the Ritz Carlton or whatever. Overall, 3 stars because I think this is quite literally what "3 star hotel" means."
"A cost affective place to stay the night if you you don't mind simplicity. Location ambience ... You get a room with a restroom. .it's fairly clean and well managed boutique hotel.... Please be expecting the cultural diversity of the hotel and area it's in . Patricia's green is two blocks away. With the city hall and the symphony a quick dash on four .$$ low prices here"
