"it in is absolutely stunning. It’s so well-maintained by a group of volunteers every single day. It has five rooms in the actual inn and five cabins scattered around. You get amazing, beautiful views of the bay and mountain while staying at this inn. The service here is amazing with self-serve almost everything they do have amazing, pancake breakfast sometimes."
"Just an amazing, amazing place. I am so fortunate have gotten to stay for a night in this historic property. We parked at Pantoll campground and hiked a relatively easy two miles up the old Stagecoach Road to the property. I am an avid backpacker, and I was a little unsure what to bring. I know how to plan for a night in the wild and I know how to prepare for a night in a hotel - but this was something in between. Turned out I brought way too much. The WPI is stocked with much of what I needed to prepare dinner and I really didn’t need sleeping bags - just linens to go on the bed. I brought dehydrated backpacking meals, but if I went again would bring something a little more substantial as there is a fridge that runs on solar and a commercial grade kitchen. There are also many old games and even a few musical instruments that guests can sit on front porch and meet other guests at the property while the sun goes down over the SF Valley. One of my favorite hotel/camping/hiking experiences in my life!!!"
"Our first time at the West Point Inn and it was spectacular. Great views, great people, and great times. Weather was a bit warmer than expected, but that was our only complaint, and I suspect there aren't many nights where that's an issue."
"Very comfortable and with a stunning view. You have to complete an easy hike or bike ride to the inn, but it's well worth the (minimal) effort. The cost is reasonable, but the linen rental is too expensive. Expect to contribute to communal chores."
"We did the hike by mountain theater to get up and back, it took us about 1 hour each way. It is a little steep in places but very manageable. We went to the monthly summer pancake breakfast, it was great and we were served within minutes of ordering. There is a bathroom and the view is stunning"
