"The Orinda Theater has been around since the 1940s, and it's an awesome theater. I'd definitely see a movie here. Now attached to the theater is a small tiki bar called, Boo Loo Tiki Bar. It's a very small spot, and the owner of the theater and the bar are one and the same. I went here 6 weeks into its opening, and I liked it! It has a lot of heart as members of the community contributed to the build of this bar. The drinks were really well balanced and, as a result, tasted delicious! Employees here are very friendly, and there are munchies served onsite. Definitely look into this spot and give it a try! Perhaps before or after a movie, or just to pop in and check it out. It's a gem!"

"It's a miracle this place has survived - only through the active efforts of the community and the interest in the histori Art Deco character. Places like this are important to frequent and support. You'll never know how long they'll be around. There is still something great about experiencing a film in a truly classic theater with original details and design."
