AMC Metreon 16

"I see movies here and I sit in the top row in the middle and the sound quality is great the seats are wonderful. Popcorn and hot dogs are good. Too bad they don't have mayonnaise as a condiment."

"This review is solely for the IMAX, theater 16. Audio and the size of the screen were impressive (though the screen could have been even wider to be perfect). But I had two major complaints with what should have been the absolute state of the art movie theater especially considering this is one of the only true IMAX theaters in the area: 1) Seats were worn and they were no recliner seats 2) The screen had a vertical black tear (thin but very visible, about 3 feet tall) on the lower right side of the screen and in the same area, around that tear you could also see two white squares showing through the screen, quite distracting and really lowered thr experience for me. Both of these things seem like unacceptable cost saving in such a theater. Also, I'm not sure if this is the theater's fault but I was only able to get acceptable seats for a showing that was 12 days after the release and the seats still weren't perfect (middle/middle is what everyone wants). I was viewing Dune part 2 which was 4.5/5."

"This movie theater is 1 of only 2 real imax theaters in the bay area if not for a 100 miles plus counting Dublin. It's a very nice theater on the eyes. Good customer service. Great seating to enjoy ur movie. No complaints."

"It was nice. Seats are so comfy. If they reclined any farther I would fall asleep so they were perfect. The concession area was clean. The bathrooms were clean."

"Had a good experience at AMC. The recliners are great and the theatre is well maintained. The sound and the video were perfect. It was my first experience of watching a movie in The States so I am quite satisfied with it. There is a lot of options for food nearby as well if you’re hungry."
