"The Rialto is a great place to see art cinema or any kind of movie that is outside the mainstream. Obviously the people running the Rialto understand what an "art house" cinema is supposed to be like and what kinds of programs to show. Yes, they show mainstream films but also art, theatre, opera, documentaries, and more. Most of their screening rooms are quite good and comfortable, but a few of the 2nd floor screening rooms are a bit small and oddly laid out. Try to stick to the 1st floor, you'll be happier. Also, a nice quality of food & drink available and a friendly staff."

"I am so thankful for Rialto Cinemas. Their film selection is extraordinary. Unique films you will not find at most theaters here in Sonoma County. Wonderful, comfortable seating. Great food and beverage options as well. The staff is equally great. Kind and helpful. After Covid, I am so appreciative to be able to go to the movies, and one senses the passion Rialto Cinemas as well as their staff has to make our experience superb. "Best theatre in Sonoma County. Members get movies for 8 bucks on Mondays and free popcorn refills. There's always good food options and interesting local beer and wine. Intimate theatres and respectful moviegoers make this a fave. Plus you can explore the Barlow before or after the show!"

"Theater's in Santa Rosa were not showing a movie I wanted to see, but the Rialto is showing it, and that's why my wife and I drove to Sebastopol. The movie was great. The Theater we saw it in was small, but cozy. The seats were not fancy, but comfortable. The people working here were very people friendly and the place was clean, along with adequate size parking lot."

This theatre (the Rialto) not only offers some of the traditional marketing one might see at your more convienant location, but also includes an amazing variety of movies, drinks selection to personalize the experience, and offers a great food selection.
