"They are great! Very knowledgeable and helpful. As good as they are at what they do, they are always busy. But they never make you feel like they are too busy to talk to you or help you out. I am extremely grateful that I found them!"
"This is my home town shop for all my truck repairs. I love this place, they are really friendly, the do excellent work, their prices are fair, and they get me in an out of the shop fast. I highly recommend them if you are in need of repairs, and you are in the Eau Claire, Wi area.."
"My first impression with Northwest Truck Service was not great and I'd like to explain why. I just recently purchased my first diesel truck and was a bit nervous on where to take it to be serviced. After reading through reviews of all the local diesel auto shops in the area, this place seemed like what I was looking for when it came to pricing, dependability, and friendly customer service. I'm happy to say that they met 3 out of the 4 requirements without question. My truck is 32-years-old so with that I expected there would be a lot of maintenance. NTS was very quick on getting an estimate written up and clearly explained the reasons why on each fix. I was very impressed with their knowledgable staff and customer service. The estimate was almost exactly how much I was predicting it would cost so I was pleased with that. I would also like to commend all of our fellow mechanics/receptionists/etc. working throughout the craziness we call COVID-19. I feel they aren't nearly appreciated enough. Here's where things start to get "bumpy". - Tuesday, May 12: Dropped truck off at the shop before hours. Received quote later that day, and was advised by staff that they would start working on it Thursday or Friday. - Friday, May 15: I contacted the shop that evening for an ETA and was told other projects were taking longer than expected, which is totally understandable. They told me they'd get to it either Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. - Tuesday, May 19: Still no call. Contacted the shop for an ETA (Not trying to pester them; I needed an ETA to secure a ride to pick me up and take me to the shop after work). They staff was very apologetic and explained that everything would be ready to go by tomorrow. - Wednesday, May 20: I made the mistake of assuming the vehicle would be ready to be picked up after 4:00pm and did not call ahead of time. When I got there, another friendly staff member greeted us and advised that the person in charge of writing up bills had to leave early and she was very apologetic and asked us to come in tomorrow and that it should be done by 10:00am. - Thursday, May 21 (today): I received a call around 11:00am advising that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Having to work until 4:00, I knew I would still have time to pick it up after work so I found another ride down to the shop. Sadly, my assumptions got the best of me again when I walked into the shop and it was empty. I waited about 5 minutes until a staff member had noticed me standing there and asked how he could help me. I told him I was here to pay and pick up my vehicle and that's when he looked over and told me the receptionist had left early for the day and he wasn't sure how to work the company system. Needless to say NTS gets an A+ from me on pricing and friendly customer service, but dependability needs some work. I do not blame any one person for the multiple, unnecessary trips just to be told to "come back tomorrow", but I do find it unprofessional to be turned down twice from picking up my vehicle because the persons needed had left early and no one else could assist."
"By far the most trustworthy, dependable service company out there. Always willing to lend a hand and give top notch service. Look forward to a long lasting relationship of them being our primary service provider. Highly recommend!"
"4 years. That is how long I have been bringing my trucks in my fleet to Northwest Truck Service for repairs. I have tried the major three in the area and have never been happy. Northwest Truck offers Excellent service both in the bay and upfront in the office. Always willing to work with you in the most cost effective manner in repairing your tractor and/or trailer. Very knowledgeable staff who will trouble shoot whatever you need to get the job done. Better than the big name shops who milk the hours while your truck just sits in their bay gathering dust. Most importantly, they have always stood by their work and craftsmanship!"
