"I booked a room for myself, boyfriend and our 1 year old son. I myself live in Redding but my boyfriend does not. He was coming to town and I wanted somewhere to stay so he could visit with us, as my home does not accommodate this. I had no issues with reserving the room and was happy that it seemed clean and a good price, plus pets stay free. I went to check in and when the gentlemen saw that my address was in redding, he told me he would not rent me a room because they have a 75 mile radius policy stating they won't give anyone in that mile radius a room. His whole attitude towards me changed, he made me feel like I had done something wrong. I asked what was the reason for this policy and he said it was because of damages people have done to the room. He stumbled his words like he was making this up on the spot. I understand about damages but anyone from anywhere could cause damage to the room. I asked if my boyfriend could put the reservation in his name since he lived out of town. The guy then rudely told me no and that he would remember me and refuse me a room. I have looked on their website and I could not find this policy he told me about anywhere. I took my business to the Super 8 in Redding where I was met with kindness and no problems with checking in. Because of this incident I will never stay at a Red Roof Inn location anywhere."

"Great help the first time by I think “Tony”…not sure, but super helpful. Came back for another stay and had the same great service from Byron. Somebody is doing a nice job training people here. Just like the first person, Byron was super helpful and easy to talk to. Clean, quick place to stay that has obviously been remodeled lately. I will be back when in town. Thank you !"

"This motel had the cleanest, nicest room for the best price that we stayed in on our whole tour of the northwest. Friendly service, too. Real milk in the lobby with the coffee would be the only thing to make it better."

"The rooms are cleaned and prepared well, the toilets, baths, bathrooms are in good condition. We were confused by 2 points: in one of the 2 rooms #208 there was a smell from smoking, not fresh, but as if stagnant, the sheets of one of the beds were clean, but with old stains. In the second room #207 there were several bedbug marks on the pillow (maybe just old marks, there was no insect activity). The staff is very tactful and polite. In general, considering the prices, it’s not bad, but due to the nuances discovered, I can’t recommend it."
