HOM Furniture

"I went looking for a table, and possibly chairs. I brought along one chair from a set of six I had custom made 20 years ago to go with a antique harvest table also purchased 20 years ago, which has now passed away so to speak. I talked to Chad and Taylor. I expressed to them that I was looking for the same country/farmhouse look I had with my harvest table, and that I wasn't against purchasing new chairs to go with the new table. Chad took one look at my chair and said it had aged so beautifully he wanted to find the right table so I could continue to use the chairs. He and Taylor did just that. Im pretty picking when selecting things for my home, and so thankful for the time each one of them spent with me. In the end we found a table I could have custom made to look just exactly how I wanted it to with my chairs, that I really would have hated to part with. Then to top it off, Chad told me the table was on sale and they had a free delivery promotion going too. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I'm expecting the new table in April. I can't wait! I will update my post in April."

We were striking out with service (we were wanting to work through a solution to get down a rug from a rack that was marked "floor model/take home", and the Manager was quick to say "no", "nobody here to help", and we were trying to explain our situation, and THEN he slowed down to think about how he could help. I guess what disappointed me was how easy and fast it was to say "no" as opposed to "let me see what our options are.") Shell redeemed it. She slowed down, was customer-focused, and apologized for the situation. THAT is good service, and if it weren't for that, my review would be 0 (and I'm not a critical type), because at the very least we need to hear eachother."
