"I took 3 buses to finally come to this thrift store. And it was worth it. The guys were great. They made us feel really welcome and were helpful. They have all kinds of things. I got a very nice ceramic cup that comes with tea strainer when you want to drink tea and the strainer comes off and it can be used for coffee and it has a lid. Mot only that, I found some cool things. Definitely coming back for more cool things. Hi guys, you are awesome."

"My house was flooded and I needed new furniture and many new household items. I heard about ,Son of a Vet. I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed. The shop is full of vintage furniture and many, many kitchen items such as food storage and dishes. Most of their stuff is in really good condition. The owner is very helpful and much of the merchandise is very high in quality. I bought a lazy boy recliner a living room table and several kitchen serving pieces. Very reasonably priced, fairly close to what I see in charity thrift stores. The store was a godsend for my needs. I wish I had discovered it earlier. It would have saved me a lot of running around. If you are just setting up a house or an apartment from scratch, this is a great place to start to get good merchandise at a good price. The person at the counter was very helpful. Parking is a little bit crowded. One time I had to park two blocks away, but it was worth the walk."
