"Never really came back to it's glory after COVID. Whoever is currently in charge of the pricing (March 2024), is marking dated electronics and dirty appliances irrationally high. $24.99 for someone else's calcified Mr. Coffee coffeepot or a crockpot isn't going to drive people in. Better to go to another store with more stock and better prices for a time or check White Elephant Sale! (The floor staff is great.)"
"GREED has taken over and they don’t even hide it anymore. As a result the place is a ghost town. The racks and shelves are overflowing with items because no one is buying anything anymore, the store is literally hoarded full of stuff they can’t sell. $15.99 for used, worn-out, outdated damaged and smelly shoes? That they received for free, mind you. Drive another mile down to Marshalls’s and get a brand new pair for cheaper. I’m glad people are finally saying NO to corporate greed."
"They are really overpriced. Some of their used items are more expensive than the new versions online. Taking advantage of people...not good. My advice, compare prices on your phone before purchasing. I found a tool box that's 33 dollars new on Amazon but the used ones in goodwill were priced at 35 with scrapes and missing a piece. Sad."
"There was a draft when I visited the store on Sunday, Dec 3, 2023 because of open doors. It seemed they had no HVAC for filtering air so compensated for that with open doors. The clothing smelled bad, like it had not been washed. They should really wash that clothing. God knows where it has been. The quality of men's clothing was poor and expensive ($10 for shirts and pants, most of which were heavily used and some of which were damaged). I wonder if they have any filtering. The clerk was very helpful, answering questions, making suggestions and confronting a man, who was going on and on about all sorts of racially charged nonsense, in a respectful way (she simply pointed out he was harrassing her), so he left after a few minutes of jabber. I found a pair of shorts that I bought, which were in good condition. They were $6.99 but since they were in a rack with pants marked as $9.99, it was unclear how much they cost until I paid for them. They clothing was not sorted well. Many women's clothing items were mixed into menswear. Wrong sizes and wrong categories was slso an issue. It seemed there was only one clerk and she was often busy processing purchases. There may have been a man processing donations but I wasn't sure. It would be nice if employees had distinctive, identifiable clothing or at least an obvious badge with their name, so they were more approachable and obvious. I looked around at other things in the store and didn't find anything else interesting or desirable. Most of the store seemed to be devoted to women's wear and there were several women looking through the men's wear. People were all respectful."
"Sheesh. First the guy taking donations is rude as hell. Then the other person that works there didn't let in the store because I had a review he saw. Act like it's their personal store and done want anyone to have any recourse. I had a whole van full of donations and they insisted I didn't. Like how would they know that ? So just because I put a bad review I can't come in. Cheap shot."
