"Everybody says this stuff is organic you can take that or leave it. I like a guy that owns his own farm and raises his own meat very good I don't know his name but the kid make some sausage that I like and the cuts pricey but worth it. Plus they do have a vendor there that serves Polish food which I enjoy a lot."
"I have to be honest here. I was not really impressed by the market. Too many of the same things, veg companies. I tried the chicken place that is there because the photos looked good online but I paid $9 for a half chicken and only had a few bites. I disposed of the rest. It was over cooked, dry and old looking. I wasn’t a fan of the seasoning either."
"Great farmers market with a good selection of fresh fruit and veggies. Also prepared food and other things like tea, salsa, cheeses, and meats. You can also get some nice plants here too. I love the Polosh food stand....yum."
"The Vista Farmers Market is great place to find fruits, veggies, eggs, nuts, milk, meat, keifer, kombucha, turmeric, smoothies, flowers, plants, bread, and local crafts. I encourage everyone to visit the farmers market for healthy options and to support our local small businesses. It is easy to access off of highway 78 and Melrose drive in the Courthouse parking lot. This Local Farmers Market is huge with ample parking. The vendors are able to spread out with large isles and everyone wears masks. Pets are not allowed. Support your local vendors. There is everything from local farms including Veggies, Cheese, Proteins, Honey, Nuts, Eggs, Chocolate, Fresh baked Bread, locally grown plants, including native plants, and vendors including Prepared Food and drinks including Healthy, Vegetarian, and Vegan options. Don’t expect to have a place to gather and sit during the pandemic. Most people will pull-up a curb. Most food vendors use compostable packaging. Bring a bag from home to carry your veggies. There are porta-potties and a hand-washing station. Bring your well-loved books to swap. There are at least a half a dozen vendors that sell live plants. Sue-Lin will provide a box to carry all of your organic garden starts. She has been my go-to for years for my garden transplants. She has a wide variety for every season. Her plants are always healthy and disease free. My garden flourishes with her plants. Big Joy Family Bakery has amazing baked treats! I love the vanilla bean bread pudding and the macaroons. I can’t believe it’s vegan! The Rush Coffee truck makes coffee that is not bitter and correctly brewed, unlike most big name coffee places. Besides the coffee, I love the Chai-Tea Latte and the London Fog. Gaytan Family Farms has a wide selection of produce, eggs, berries, and my favorite chips and salsa in town. JR Organics has subscription produce boxes for this who like fresh produce on a regular basis. Build a better community by buying local."
