La Rue Du Chocolat

"A quaint and cozy chocolate and candy shop hiding in the tiny alley of Peppertree Lane (look for a two-story, dark green building from the California 1 highway). They have a great selection of chocolates, truffles, fudge, and dipped fruit. I myself had a chocolate covered strawberry, and it was incredibly fresh and didn't melt fast at all. I also like the fact that they had a fun selection of stationary and small gifts, making this a great place for a quick gift for a loved one or family member. Parking on the street is quite crowded, so be sure to take the time just to find a parking lot nearby and enjoy the walk to the alley."

"A nice little shop located in a fairytale like shopping alley right off the Main Street. There was a magical vibe to the place. The chocolate displays are very tempting and unique. I wanted to buy up every piece but I settled for a few select choices from the window. I think chocolate is a bit pricey but it is expected from good quality shops like this one. The mint chocolate frogs were delicious! Side note, AMEX is not accepted as a form of payment here."

"My favorite was the cappuccino chocolate and boy was it scrumptious! It's pricey but delicious. I'm torn about it because it's not crazy sweet, very delicate and seemingly fresh and handmade. It's legit but at $3 ($3-3.87) per small chocolate, it keeps you from really enjoying the chocolate. Maybe that's just me but I wanted quite a few more. I was on vacay so I was alittle more loose with my wallet just cause of that."
