"Tried to purchase a table from their company, The Local Flea: extremely disappointed in this company, their empty promises and lack of customer service. Two months of emails, calls and waiting for an anniversary gift to be shipped, then they send an email cancelling the order because they couldn't find a shipping company to do it for what their team estimated and I paid for (I would've been totally fine with them being upfront and honest about their ability to ship the item to my location). Instead, their lack of professionalism, problem solving and connections has me without the table, a delayed refund and having to source this item again. If you order from them, don't expect anything to happen. They had zero answers and every promise to "make it right" ended up being lip service."
"I had a deeply unsatisfactory experience with remoov which prompts me to leave this one-star review. I was charged for the service of moving a couch upstairs, yet the movers refused to fulfill this, falsely claiming the couch wouldn’t fit through the doorway. It was evident they were avoiding the effort due to the couch’s weight. They even tried to point out pre-existing damage that was clearly noted in the sale listing. Their professionalism was further called into question when they rudely insisted on their expertise, despite being proven wrong about the doorway. The team hastily retreated after this, forcing me to sign the delivery completion under the threat of taking the couch back. After reaching out to customer support, I was advised to escalate this to management. This experience was frustrating, and I caution potential customers about the lack of reliability and professionalism from this company. Update: they reached out to us and politely refunded us the whole cost of the delivery. Still frustrating that our couch is at the bottom of the stairs and we have to hire a separate group of movers but they did what they could to help us out."
"Remoov did a wonderful job. I had an 8-11 window for appointment and they arrived before 9 am. Hugo and crew were quick, hard working and very courteous. I am very happy I selected them to pick up the large furniture items from my Mom's estate that were not wanted by family. I appreciate they recycle or donate the items. The price was good and this task is now complete. Thank you again."
"100% recommend if you are looking to get rid of your furniture in the bay area! I used the service when I had to move out of the bay and had to get rid of everything pretty quickly. I love how easy the whole process was, and that we can sell our furniture without having to do all the work."
"Save yourself money and sell your items on FB marketplace instead. They told me to buy a moving permit from SFMTA for $300 then flaked on the scheduled time. The team didn’t handle furniture with care. Most items they decided to recycle, few donate. Only two they offered to resell but priced too high then they never sold. Shame that so many near new excellent condition items went to waste. (Additional comments since Google doesn’t let you reply to a reply from a business) The business incorrectly blames street parking issues but in fact it was canceled because the vendor didn’t have a truck available. I could have still saved $300+ in the first place had I not used this company and not been forced to get a moving permit. As indicated in the photos the employees were a bit careless with the items and I wouldn’t trust them to remove and resell any item with reasonable return. Might as well just donate yourself or sell on FB marketplace."
