"As soon as I walked into Foggy Dew I felt comfortable. There was something different about this bar, although the clientele looked typically Milwaukee South Side. They were polite, kind and welcoming. The guy sitting next to me gave up his seat for my friend. I bought him a drink to thank him, but he didn’t acknowledge it, probably embarrassed. That’s typical of Foggy Dew. Nick was our bartender, and he was friendly and answered my barrage of questions. Foggy Dew will be a destination bar for me. The decor was unique, but the differences were subtle. I loved the fact the Dew was in a residential neighborhood. That added to its panache. It was a cool bar. I liked it. I think you will too."
