"Friday, 6:00pm: Full bar vs one bartender on State St; horrible. At least the poor girl bartending by herself on a Friday night kept a positive attitude. What an embarrassing way to run a business."

"My favorite ole fashioned in town. Outside of that, they just have an overall great selection of whiskeys, an intimidating amount, perfect. Atmosphere is also great with its dimly lit vibe, but getting a drink when the bar seating is full is strenuous, and unneeded. A more clear section where those can order would be a great addition."

"First impressions…the bar is nice and clean. They are across the street from the Overture Center so it would seem like a great place to step across to visit before a show. We walked in 30 minutes before our show hoping to catch a drink. The cocktail lineup seemed interesting. However, there was only one bartender on a Friday night at 6:30. We sat at the end of the bar without being acknowledged for 20 minutes. We ended up leaving without ordering or even talking to anyone. I wouldn’t characterize our experience as rude…it certainly was reasonably busy…all of the bar stools were filled, but the place was not packed otherwise. The bartender was working on other drinks and was by herself. I’d call this an incomplete review. I hope we have the desire to come back and give the place a try again."

"We only had drinks. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful with some cocktail suggestions. My beer was ice cold and fresh and the old fashioned we ordered was perfectly done and tasted great. Highly recommended!"
